Auto playing videos again

This issue keeps popping up what feels like every other IGN app update but the videos are automatically playing again which is super annoying. Simply scrolling down the list of articles prompts any video to stop my music, podcast or whatever Imm listening to automatically start playing the video. Itd be great if you guys could kill this bug once and for all.

Can we get an ad free experience if we pay a few bucks please? Being forced to watch the same four or five videos month after month gets old really fast. I find myself only watching or going to videos / articles Im positive I want just so I dont have to suffer through the same adverts over and over and over and over and over and over again.
