I dont know whats going on...

Im sorry guys but this app has really taken a turn for worse lately. I suppose it mostly works but its so slow and unresponsive much of the time while browsing stories and its just not a pleasant experience. It wasnt always this way, however. Thats why its so disappointing.

I think the main change is that the ads are often animated now and this really just bogs down the entire browsing experience.

Worst of all is that the app often times opens ads in safari without me even clicking on them and it also autoplays video ads randomly as well.

I completely understand that ads are largely how IGN makes their money but this has been so invasive that its really hurt the ability to get to the articles and enjoy your content.

Ive been using this app for years and its been a rollercoaster ride. It improves little things and completely breaks others.

I love IGN. The staff and content has been consistently great but this app... This app has always been below par and Ive started using other apps entirely to view your content so I can get an attractive and reliable experience.

Ill keep checking back to hopefully see marked improvement in this app but for now, its just really rough.
