Very strange new addition or (hopefully) bug

Every time I scroll past an add it opens like it is attempting to force me to watch it. Not sure what the deal is here, but I can find another source of video game information if it means not having adds shoved down my throat. Hoping this is just a silly bug that needs squashing.
