The initial setup and customizing screen will not let you click any of the choices to go past. I forced the app to exit twice but still no luck. On IOS 10.

I can get info about games movies shows and much more! I am addicted to this app!

Searching isnt very intuitive and often doesnt result in what Im looking for. Every update seems to make this app slower. The worst though, are the ads that will open safari even when you dont tap on them in app. Incredibly annoying and intrusive

Ive written an in depth review before but for some reason I cant add onto it. So the main thing I want to address is that you cant see the article title. Just the thumbnail on the iPad Pro 12.9. How is this still a thing?

This app has so many ads it makes it hard to find the real content. Between the obvious ads and the "promoted" ones the actual content is non-existent. I understand that their revenue is from ads but you seriously cant make it this difficult to find the content... Im disappointed. Also: why bother auto playing videos from the feed if youre going to make me watch an ad? Stop wasting my data.

It has improved significantly over the years.

Please disable (or give the option to disable) videos from autoplaying.

The app is pretty terrible constantly crashes in middle of an article and then I have to go and try to find it again very annoying, all the videos on my feed page that autoplay seem to not help and again very annoying and lastly while scrolling through my feed it will randomly open my internet browser to load a small thumbnail advertisement ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Avoid this app.

I downloaded this app because I was sick of all the IGN ads on YouTube. Well... surprise! Those same ads are on this app. Except after sitting through the 30 second ad, you have about a 50/50 chance of the app crashing and exiting to the home screen. Leaving you to have to go back in and watch that same stupid ad again to get to your video. No thanks IGN- guess Im going back to YouTube.

Love these guys best gaming news company there is. Easy access the only thing you have to do is create an account and there you have it

I like the content but it is plagued by frequent and random crashes and video loading errors. The articles and videos are well done for the most part but the bugs can render the app unusable at time. I know they have tried to fix this before, and I just hope they get it right this time! On a side note the permanent video play that starts videos as you are scrolling is quite annoying especially since Im unable to save them for later now. But seriously an organization that loves to talk about new tech and gaming should have an app that can run with crashing!

Video content plays automatically. Thats annoying.

New update is alright. The auto play video feature in the news feed is really annoying. I really have no interest in that feature. Fortunately it doesnt seem to work when youre not connected to wifi.

Use the mobile web version Im discouraged of clicking articles simply because Im not waiting for a commercial ...ill just use the web version ....IGN keeps this up I will not be coming back to your site

Im sorry guys but this app has really taken a turn for worse lately. I suppose it mostly works but its so slow and unresponsive much of the time while browsing stories and its just not a pleasant experience. It wasnt always this way, however. Thats why its so disappointing. I think the main change is that the ads are often animated now and this really just bogs down the entire browsing experience. Worst of all is that the app often times opens ads in safari without me even clicking on them and it also autoplays video ads randomly as well. I completely understand that ads are largely how IGN makes their money but this has been so invasive that its really hurt the ability to get to the articles and enjoy your content. Ive been using this app for years and its been a rollercoaster ride. It improves little things and completely breaks others. I love IGN. The staff and content has been consistently great but this app... This app has always been below par and Ive started using other apps entirely to view your content so I can get an attractive and reliable experience. Ill keep checking back to hopefully see marked improvement in this app but for now, its just really rough.

IGN is a great source of game industry news. Keep up to date with the latest and greatest.

GREAT APP...minor bugs. Freezes far too often (mostly when scrolling). The bugs are the only reason this is missing a star.

The up date that added auto play video (which a lot of people detest) has started causing crashing. There is no way to turn them off in settings either. They also cause scrolling issues and slow every thing down. They also burn up every ones data on their phone plans. Until they are removed or we are given the option to turn them off im giving 1 star since it wont let me give 0. Guess Im getting getting my game and pop culture info elsewhere from now on.
